Create Legal Representative (Step 3 of 6)

Step 3: Add legal representatives linked to shareholders.

Create a legal representative (partner, administrator, attorney, etc.) linked to a shareholder. Legal representatives are always natural persons (PF) that represent shareholders in the QSA structure.

Important:

  • Legal representatives are ALWAYS PF (natural person)
  • Must be linked to an existing shareholder via shareholder_id
  • At least one contact detail (email or phone) is required
  • mother_name is required for Brazilian representatives

Prerequisites:

  • Shareholder must be created first (POST /shareholders)
  • shareholder_id must reference existing shareholder from same company

Required documents (upload after creation):

  • selfie - Representative selfie photo
  • identity_document - ID, CNH or Passport
  • qualification_declaration - Declaration of powers

Header Parameters

    x-transaction-uuid stringrequired

    The transaction ID is a UUID (v4) used to uniquely identify the object that will be created. All objects must have an identifier.

    nonce stringrequired

    The nonce ID is a UUID (v4) used to uniquely identify the request. All requests must have an identifier.

    x-lang string

    Possible values: [pt-BR, en-US]

    Indicates the preferred language. Defaults to Brazilian Portuguese if unspecified.

    x-product-uuid string

    The product ID is a UUID (v4) used to identify the Z.ro product configuration.

    x-product-target-user-uuid string

    The product target user ID is a UUID (v4) used to identify what user account this request must be executed. Require: x-product-uuid.

    Participation percentage in management/representation (0 to 100).

    Note: This represents the legal representative's participation in company management, which may differ from their equity stake. If this legal representative is linked to a shareholder, the shareholder has its own participation_percentage representing equity stake.

    PEP self-declaration.

    is_public_server booleanrequired

    Public server flag.

    representor_type stringrequired

    Possible values: [PARTNER, ATTORNEY, ADMINISTRATOR, OTHER]

    Legal representative qualification.

    phone_number string

    Phone number. At least one contact detail (email or phone)

    email string

    Email. At least one contact detail (email or phone)

    relationship_start_date date-timerequired

    Relationship start date with the legal entity.

    relationship_end_date date-time

    Relationship end date with the legal entity.

    registration_update_date date-time

    Registration update date. If omitted, defaults to relationship_start_date.

    shareholder_id stringrequired

    Shareholder ID this legal representative is linked to. Required - must be created first via shareholders endpoint.

    Prerequisites:

    • The shareholder must be created via POST /shareholders (Step 2) before creating the legal representative
    • The shareholder must belong to the same company (same authenticated user)

    Relationship:

    • Links the legal representative to a specific shareholder in the company
    • The legal representative can represent the shareholder in legal matters
    • Both entities can have different participation_percentage values:
      • Shareholder: equity stake in the company
      • Legal Representative: management participation percentage
